Two New Rides Will Hopefully Boost Recruitment At FAMU

By  |

FAMU has a new set of wheels that hopefully will catch potential students' eyes and draw them to Tallahassee.

Rattler and Snake are the new FAMU charter buses that were recently purchased by the Student Government Association.
The buses will travel the state and be used for recruiting.
They each hold 56 passengers and are decked from top to wheel in FAMU logos.

"It's a brand and when we use these buses for recruitment and roll into a city or town and see FAMU roll into town, that image come into town, I think that will help with our recruitment," said Henry Kirby, Dean of Students.

The buses took SGA members on a tour of campus Monday afternoon and will embark on their first recruitment trip next week.
