Two bodies found in Lake Talquin after search

Tallahassee, FL - The bodies of two men were found in Lake Talquin Sunday.

A Florida Fish and Wildlife dive team recovered and identified 38 year-old Elohondro Guinnie and 49 year-old David Brown.

Search teams were looking for the two men after their boat capsized on the lake Saturday.

A third man, 36 year-old Antonio Stephens survived the accident.

An FWC spokesperson says the agency is still investigating how the boat capsized.


The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission is searching for two men on Lake Talquin.

According to the FWC three men were riding on a red boat in the lake when the boat turned over.

A good samaritan was able to save one of the men, who officials say is doing, "fine."

The two other men remain missing.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office, Leon County EMS and the Tallahassee Fire Department are all on scene along with family members.

The names of the men have not yet been released.

The dive team is expected to arrive shortly but officials say the search can take days.

Lake Talquin's surface is 15 square miles.
