More Than 30 Non-Profits Help With Alternative Christmas Market

On Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14, patrons will have an opportunity to give something meaningful for Christmas, not only to those on their Christmas list, but to those in need in our community.

Beginning at 6 pm on December 13, until 9 pm and again Saturday morning, December 14, from 8 am to 1 pm, Christ Presbyterian Church, 2317 Bannerman Road, will host its annual Alternative Christmas Market. Over 30 non-profit agencies will be in attendance, including agencies such as Big Bend Homeless Coalition, Second Harvest, Good News Soup Kitchen, Canopy Roads Food Bank, Tallahassee Veteran’s Village and Heifer International.

Come enjoy a free pancake breakfast Saturday morning, shop Ten Thousand Villages for unique hand crafted gifts, buy a Christmas Tree from the Boy Scouts, give blood through the Bloodmobile, and go home with homemade baked goods from the women of the church.
