Brooks County High School reopens following bomb threat

QUITMAN, Ga. (WCTV) -- Police say that Brooks County High School has reopened following a bomb threat Thursday

A bomb threat was called into 911 Thursday morning.

Officers and emergency personnel cleared the school. No bomb was found.

The school reopened 11:45 a.m.

QUITMAN, Ga. (WCTV) -- Officers with the Quitman Police Department are investigating a bomb threat at Brooks County High School.

Officials say they received a 911 call regarding the threat Thursday morning.

QPD and other emergency crews have responded to the scene.

No further details are available at this time.
