Tallahassee, FL -It's not the way several students wanted to start the school year.

They say they're dealing with 'unlivable' conditions at the Eagle Point Townhomes.

Eyewitness News has received several complaints and emails. People have sent pictures of roaches, ripped up carpet, and mold.

After receiving these pictures, we went to the complex and spoke with a few residents.

Kayla Archer says her apartment was 'infested' with roaches.

"We have to pay for a hotel. We have to get another moving truck. We have to get new beds, boxsprings," said Archer. "That's a lot of money that we simply don't have."

We tried to get answers, but were told the property manager was unavailable for comment. We were then asked to leave.

That's when we caught up with others, who wanted to talk about their situations.

"There were roaches in the cabinets in the kitchen," said Helen Mims, a concerned Aunt of one of the student tenants. "The cabinets under the sink in the kitchen was completely covered in black mold, and the bottom had fallen all the way to the floor."

We tried to call the Leasing Office at Eagle Point but received no answer. We also left a voicemail for the property manager.
