Teacher of the Month

“I’m blown away. I’m so thankful. It’s very unexpected. It’s easy to focus on the lower parts of the day, so this is a great reminder that I have a great job and I’m very lucky,” Penton said after receiving the honor.

Wolters said her love for teaching began at Sealey, as she grew up watching her mom teach there.

“I’m totally surprised. I didn’t expect this at all, but it’s awesome”, Cartwright said after he was given the award.

Hillary Famularo of Montford Middle School awarded WCTV and Envision Credit Union “Teacher of the Month.”

Jeanine Post of Community Christian School awarded WCTV and Envision Credit Union “Teacher of the Month.”

Doris Davis, a first-grade teacher at FAMU DRS, was selected as WCTV's and Envision Credit Union's Teacher of the Month for Jan. 2022!

Nichelson said she dreamed of being a teacher since she was a little girl.

This school year, WCTV and Envision Credit Union are teaming up yet again to thank local teachers for their dedication to their students.
