Florida State football fans can start planning their September tailgates. The Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday released kickoff times and TV networks for games through Sept. 17, bringing FSU’s number of known game times for the 2016 season to four.

After starting the season with an 8 p.m., game in Orlando against Mississippi on Monday, Sept. 5, the Seminoles will open their home slate against Charleston Southern at 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 9.

The home opener will mark the debut for a number of anxiously-awaited upgrades to Doak Campbell Stadium, including the Champions Club in the south end zone and a new, jumbo-sized scoreboard in the north end zone. Single-game tickets for FSU-Charleston Southern will go on sale on June 1.

A week later, the Seminoles hit the road for a nationally-televised test against ACC Atlantic rival Louisville. The Seminoles and Cardinals will kick off at noon inside Papa John’s Cardinals Stadium, with ABC broadcasting the game.

It will mark FSU’s first visit to Louisville since a 2014 classic that saw the Seminoles rally from a three-touchdown deficit and emerge with a 42-31 victory. That game also featured breakout performances from then-freshmen Dalvin Cook (nine carries, 110 yards) and Travis Rudolph (two catches, 76 yards), both of whom are expected to be among the leaders on this year’s team.

Several media outlets have included Louisville on their preseason Top-25 lists this offseason, and the Cardinals appear to have a rising star in quarterback Lamar Jackson. Jackson threw for three touchdowns in Doak Campbell Stadium last season, but the Seminoles also took advantage of a Jackson interception on the way to a 41-21 victory.

Finally, the league announced that Florida State’s Veterans Day showdown against Boston College will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11. The game, which will be shown on ESPN2, will be FSU’s first home contest on a day other than Saturday or Monday since hosting Clemson on a Thursday in 2002.

Check back in coming weeks for announcements on several veteran-friendly and military-themed events throughout the weekend.
