It is quite literally championship week across the Big Bend and south Georgia, and the Florida State soccer team is now two wins away from winning the program’s fourth national title, their third in the last six years.
Those rumblings gained some traction Sunday morning as TexAgs’ Billy Liucci first reported on X that ‘per multiple sources, Texas A&M was set to part ways with Fisher as early as today. The decision was reached at the recommendation of the Athletic Department/University President during last Thursday’s Board of Regent Meeting.’
It’s rivalry weekend for the Florida State football team, as the Seminoles welcome Miami to Doak Campbell stadium. Someone that will most certainly be watching is Jacksonville teen Jack Coleman, who’s connection to his favorite team is only stronger thanks to former Seminole James Coleman, and Dreams Come True, a wish granting organization based out of his hometown.
It’s been 30 years since the Florida state football team won their first national championship. On Saturday, that team was celebrated as Doak Campbell Stadium welcomed back the guys that set the bar for this program from that day forward.
