It's a cold morning with temperatures in the mid to lower 30's. It'll be a good Sunday to spend inside your house drinking a hot cup of coffee. When you head outside you'll need a jacket with temperatures only warming into the mid 50s by noon. While we're starting today off with sunshine, clouds will build this afternoon as a low pressure system moves through the gulf.
Late this afternoon we have a chance for showers with temperatures only reaching the lower 60s. The showers will slowly move across our area with them continuing overnight tonight and into Monday morning. Grabbing an umbrella for your morning commute is a good idea, but you may not need your coat with temperatures Monday morning in the upper 40s.
We have a fairly active weather week coming up with chances for showers coming back on Wednesday and again on Friday. Temperatures will be in the lower to mid 60s this week. Still fairly chilly so don't put your sweaters and light jacket's back into the closet yet.
