COOK CO., GA (WALB) -- The Georgia Department of Natural Resources was called in to help remove a body from the water in Cook County.
The body was found in a creek on Ed Lindsey Road in Lenox.
DNR officials said the body doesn’t appear to have been harmed in a fishing or hunting accident.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist in the investigation. Officials are working to identify the body, and it will be sent off to the GBI Crime Lab.
