VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) -- The Valdosta Click N' Fix app is making it easier to solve issues throughout the city.

City staff is encouraging people to use the app. It's a free resource that allows the community to report issues, like sidewalk or traffic repair, or parking complaints.

Users can drop a pin on a map locating the issue. The app will then prompt users through steps, choosing the city department and describing the issue. There is also an option to take a picture.

The city said the app is used to help make sure these problems are fixed quickly and easily.

"It allows citizen engagement, as far as with community departments and things like that," said Ashlyn Becton, Valdosta Public Information Officer. "If you've got a pot hole, engineering will see it, they'll respond back to you with a time frame of when they can get it fixed, and that just kind of allows you to ask questions about the project and get feedback and updates."

The Click N' Fix app is free, and is available on both iPhones and Androids. For those without a smartphone, issues can also be reported online.
