LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) -- The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested multiple people which resulted in the recovery of a large amount of stolen property and methamphetamine.
Deputies say investigators arrested Beau Haines of Hahira for possession of meth with intent to distribute at an motel on West Hill Avenue.
Officials say a subsequent search of the room revealed property from four known recent burglaries.
Authorities say further information obtained in the search led investigators to a residence in south Lowndes County on Idlewood Drive, where two stolen firearms and a quantity of jewelry was recovered.
Lowndes County Investigators also searched a room at another motel where more stolen property was discovered and seized.
Officials say information from that search led them to a residence on Moore Street where two people were arrested, James Blanton and Stacy Hunt.
Authorities say in the arrest of Blanton and Hunt, a stolen firearm was recovered, along with approximately 9.5 ounces of crystal meth, with a street value of approximately $27,000.
