Some South Georgia schools closed Monday due to weather

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) -- Several school districts in South Georgia have cancelled classes Monday, December 3 due to poor weather conditions and road flooding.

According to education officials, Brooks County Schools, Clinch County Schools, Echols County Schools, Lanier County Schools, Lowndes County Schools and Valdosta City Schools will be closed. Valwood School, Georgia Christian School and Open Bible Christian School have also cancelled classes.

There is no word on whether schools will be open Tuesday.
