Multiple river levels forecast to decrease

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Several local rivers are near flood stage or flooding. Multiple rivers have crested or will crest soon. River observations and forecast information can be found below. Click HERE for more river information.

Ochlockonee River
Near Thomasville US 84
River Observation: 13.34 ft Tuesday morning
Drop to 9.6 ft by Sat Jan 12 7 PM
Impacts: water may overflow wooded area along the river and approaches the boat ramp south of US-19.

Ochlockonee River Near Concord/CR 12 Fairbanks Ferry Rd- Minor flooding, flood warning still in effect
River Observation: 36.08 ft Tuesday Morning
Crested early Monday morning 36.29 ft
Gradually decreasing today through Sunday to about 34 ft

Ochlockonee River Near Havana (North Monroe St /HWY 27 SR 63N in Ga)- Near flood stage
River Observation: 25.4 ft at 10:15AM January 8
Cresting today at 25.4 ft (flood stage is 26 ft)
Forecast to slowly drop to below 25 ft by Saturday afternoon

Ochlockonee River Near Bloxham (SR 20)
River Observation: 16.49 ft at 10:15AM January 8
The river crested already, and is forecast to gradually drop to 15.2 ft by the evening of Sat. Jan 12

St. Mark's River
River Observation: 7.47 ft at 10:00AM January 8
Forecast to slowly drop to 7.1 ft by January 13

Flint River
Flint River at Newton (SR 37)
River Observation: 20.07ft at 9:45AM January 8
Forecast to be between 19 and 20 ft through January 11, then decrease to 15.4 ft by January 13

Flint River at Bainbridge (US 27)
River Observation: 24.25 at 10:45AM January 8
Increase to 24.24 ft by 7PM, be near 24 ft through Saturday, then decreasing to 22.9ft by 10 AM January 13

Apalachicola River
Apalachicola River at Woodruff Dam
River Observation: 64.6 ft at 9:45AM January 8
Forecast to drop to 55.1 ft by 7 PM January 11

Apalachicola River Near Blountstown
Crested at 22.02 ft at 9:15AM January 8
22.03ft Tuesday Jan 8, Minor flooding near low-lying areas near the river
Forecast to decrease to 17.8 ft by 12 AM January 12

Aucilla River
Aucilla River at Lamont (US 27)
River Observation:52.97 at 9 AM Jan 8
Minor lowland flooding is occurring
Forecast to slowly decrease to 51.9 ft by Jan 13

Wilthlacoochee
Withlacoochee River Near Pinetta (CR150)
River Observation: 63.59 ft at 10AM Jan 8
Forecast to increase to 64.1 ft on Jan 10 and 11, then gradually drop to 63 ft by January 13

Suwannee River
Suwannee River at White Springs
River Observation:76.59 ft at 9:30AM Jan 8
Minor flooding is occurring
At 72 feet, low lying roads near the river may flood. All public boat ramps will close.
Gradually falls to 72.7 ft by 7AM January 13


Suwannee River near Suwannee Springs
River Observation: 63.44 at 10:15AM Jan 8
Gradually decreases to 61.2 ft by January 13

Suwannee River at Ellaville
River Observation: 49.33 ft at 10AM Jan 8
Forecast to slowly decrease to 47.6 ft by January 15

Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51)
River Observation: 36.22 ft at 10:15AM Jan 8
Minor flooding is occurring/ River begins flooding low-lying bottomlands. NW Harlie Lynch Road, NW Riverbank Road, and Blue Springs State Park may be flooded.
The river is forecast to slowly decrease to 35.3 ft by January 15

Suwannee River at Branford(US 27)
River Observation:27 ft at 10:00AM Jan 8
Minor flooding possible along SE River drive and homes along that area
The river is forecast to slowly decrease to 26.3 ft through January 15

Suwannee River near Wilcox (US 19)
River Observation: 11.01 ft at 10:30AM Jan 8
Minor flooding is occurring. Flood water begins to cut off houses in Guaranto Springs, Pervis Landing, Pine Landing, and New Pine Landing.

Santa Fe River
Santa Fe River at Three Rivers Estates
River Observation: 22.63 ft at 10:00AM January 8
Moderate flooding is occurring. River Run Road at 29th loop floods in Suwannee County.
Homes could be surrounded by water on River Run Road in Suwannee County.
