LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) -- A new space to get 'wild' is coming to Valdosta.
On Thursday, Wild Adventures announced it will be developing a new Alligator Alley. The three-acre expansion in the theme park will provide a brand new kids area opening next year.
Alligator Alley will have six new rides and chances for kids to feed and learn all about alligators.
Construction is slated to begin in October with completion ready for the 2019 season. Staff said this is one of the largest expansion projects in the last ten years.
To kick off the new project, Wild Adventures will be offering free season passes to kids ages 3-5.
On Monday, kids can be registered for season passes online. They will be valid for the remainder of 2018 and 2019.
