Caribbean Sorrel and Island Ginger Brew



Ingredients

Caribbean Sorrel
2 cups dried sorrel
8 cups cold water
3 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1 tbsp fresh cut ginger
Orange peel from small orange
Organic sugar to sweeten

Island Ginger Brew
2 cups raw ginger, sliced
4 cups cold water
1 cup pineapple juice
Juice from fresh lemon
Organic sugar to sweeten

Directions

Caribbean Sorrel
Add all ingredients, except sugar, in a large pot and bring to a boil
Remove from heat and allow mixture to steep overnight
Drain liquid and sweeten to taste
Pour over ice and enjoy!

Island Ginger Brew
Blend water and ginger at medium speed for 30 seconds
Strain to remove ginger bits
Combine ginger liquid, pineapple juice and lemon juice
Sweeten to taste
Pour over ice and enjoy!
