VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) -- Valdosta State is expected to name Gary Goff their next head coach, according to a report from FootballScoop.com.

Goff, a former VSU wide receiver, has spent the past eight seasons at Division II program Tiffin in Ohio. This past year, the Tiffin Dragons went 9-2 under Goff.

The Blazers lost former head coach Kerwin Bell to South Florida after winning the 2018 DII title.

The school has not confirmed Goff's hire.
