The Tallahassee Babe Ruth All-Stars league accomplished a feat that has not been done in more then six decades. The 13, 14 and 15-under teams all won North Florida State Championships.
The 15-under team won their title by hanging on to beat Lafayette 3-2. The All-Stars are now getting ready for the Southeastern Regional Tournament which kicks off Tuesday in Union City, Tennessee. Manager Mike Harrison says his team is excited to represent the Sunshine State.
"It's extremely exciting to represent the state of Florida. The kids really want to work hard, they have so much fun and there is such deep tradition in Tallahassee. This team is very tough, they work hard, they're good kids and they play the game right," said Harrison
