Rain Will Not Wash Away Practice

When Mother Nature decides to throw a fit, it dampens the preparation of FAMU and Florida State football. The Rattlers are fighting for their playoff lives and look at the situation as an opportunity in disguise.
FAMU Head Football Coach Joe Taylor says,
"If you see nails in my palms then I can do something about it, but if you don't then the only thing we can do is control how we play in it. The only way to do that is to practice in it. We practice in it and every once in a while it's good because you never know what's going to happen on Saturdays."
The Seminoles are breaking gin a new quarterback this week, who needs to be game ready in a matter of days.
FSU Offensive Coordinator Jimbo Fisher adds,
"It bothers me because of the reps. That bothers me because of practice, that's why today we're trying to bump it up. I'm going to try and move it up and get a little more today because you don't know what you'll get tomorrow in that aspect. We beat these dang gum things all year and all of a sudden, here comes one."
Both teams can't let a little water rain on their parade, but bare the weather and get ready for Saturday.
