Dixie County man sentenced to 20 years on sex battery, incest charges

CROSS CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - A man accused of sexual battery and incest in Dixie County was sentenced to 20 years behind bars on Wednesday.

Sheriff’s deputies say Leon Anthony Davis of Old Town was sentenced after previously being arrested by the Dixie County Sheriff’s Office.

“Protecting victims and holding offenders accountable remains one of our highest priorities,” Sheriff Darby Butler stated. “Crimes of this nature have a devastating impact on victims and families, and we are committed to working alongside our law enforcement and prosecutorial partners to ensure those responsible face the consequences of their actions.”
