‘Lanetra’s Last Lap’ to kick off in Quincy
Lanetra will be making stops around our viewing area to celebrate the communities she’s served during her time at WCTV
QUINCY, Fla. (WCTV) - After 25 years serving viewers in north Florida and south Georgia, veteran WCTV journalist and morning anchor Lanetra Bennett will be signing off at the end of August.
WCTV is sending Lanetra off in style with “Lanetra’s Last Lap.”
Lanetra will be making stops around our viewing area to celebrate the communities she’s served during her time at WCTV.
The celebration kicks off Wednesday, July 29 in Quincy!
Join Lanetra at Bantam Bay and Company from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and again from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as she starts her farewell tour.
The first 25 people to stop by will be able to get a commemorative coffee cup.
The party continues into August! Here’s a list of upcoming stops for “Lanetra’s Last Lap.”
- Wednesday, August 5: Live Oak, Dixie Grill, 6 a.m.-9a.m. and 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Tuesday, August 11: Bainbridge, The Bean, 7 a.m.-9a.m. and 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 19: Perry, Johnson’s, 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 26: Tallahassee
- Earley’s Kitchen, 6 a.m. - 9 a.m.
- FAMU, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
