Two-A-Days: Suwannee looks to rebound in 2026
LIVE OAK, Fla. (WCTV) - It was a bit of a “Murphy’s Law” season for the Suwannee Bulldog football team last fall. Anything that could go wrong oftentimes felt like it did.
Kyler Hall’s guys in green finished with a 1-9 record, fighting injuries and turnover all the way including at the quarterback position.
Despite the tumultuous circumstances, Suwannee played tough in most of its contests with Hall saying his upperclassmen have taken motivation from the results.
“You play a very competitive schedule when you’re in most of the games and you finish with a one and nine record, something that nobody wants. You prepare and you come away with one Friday night that you get it done and you see that with the way they approach practice,” said Hall of an energized bunch hoping to learn the lessons of 2025. “There’s got to be some natural hunger and motivation from last year.”
The Dogs open the season on August 21st at Crystal River, hosting Lafayette the following week in their home opener at Paul Langford Stadium.
