Two-A-Days: Taylor County ready to work
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Taylor County Bulldogs move from Rural to 1A football this year, and head coach Jesse Braswell is excited to compete in a tough district.
Some of the guys that led Taylor County to a 10-2 mark last year are back, and the Dawgs return 75% of their scoring.
They are going to have a lot of new faces though, all new linebackers and two new faces on the offensive line. Now, it’s about growing and building every day.
“I know it’s so cliche about 1% and all this percentage. It’s about today’s work,” he said. “Can they get better in these next 22 periods of practice we go? If they don’t, somebody else is. We have a lot of exciting young guys that we’ll see. Mike Tyson framed it best. Everybody has a plan. We have a plan, we’ll see when we get hit in the face next week.”
Taylor County opens the regular season at Bozeman on August 21st.
