Something Good: Dog rescued from 30-foot deep dry well under house
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - It’s time for something good featuring an animal rescue with the perfect team to handle it!
More good news:
A family’s dog, Chip, had been missing for nearly two weeks when they heard cries from under an old home and found the dog under the house and at the bottom of a 30-foot dry well.
Midway Fire and Rescue arrived on scene and came up with a plan for the complicated rescue situation.

Inside a crawlspace with less than three feet of room, they got all their equipment in and worked carefully to get a harness around the dog and pull Chip out!
It couldn’t have been a better team to be on scene either as Chief Nathan Yarusso and Training Instructor Alex Arthur are both trained in animal rescue.
